Easter in Pleasant Valley

Dash on left and Bear on Right (top Picture)

This Easter my sister Adele and her two kids and dog came out. They brought Bear to visit his brother Dash and boy did they have fun. Too bad it rained, they were two big double mud ball mess! They romped, jumped all over each other, wrestled and played tug of war with the rope.
They were so wet and muddy, that Adele, Tiffany, Lexi, Tyler and Taylor took them over to Grandma and Grandpa's house to give them a bath. I should have taken a picture of the tub when they were done. You could say that there was a quarter of an acre of top soil in it. They blew them dry with the calf blower and they looked and smell
ed nice once again.
Easter Sunday came and Taylor ended up in the Emergency Room @ the Hospital with a double ear infection. He really wasn't feeling good. But they gave him medicine and it wasn't long after wards that he started to feel better. We had a nice Easter dinner @ our house, Ham, yummy potatoes and the works! What was nice, I didn't have to cook anything except the veggies. Everyone else helped
and it made it so nice. After Dinner we watched a movie "Bedtime Stories" which was really cute and then Tiffany drove back to Orem.

Easter is about our Savior and the wonderful gift he gave to us. Sure it's fun to have the Easter Bunny and eat candy, hunt for Easter eggs and dress up in pretty Sunday clothes, but we need to remember what Easter is really celebrated for.
Watching conference was so neat this year. The talks were so great and had wonderful messages that gave you a lift that we will make it through these trying times. I wanted to add this clip from You Tube but couldn't put it on my blog. Go to www.youtube.com and look up "An Apostle's Easter Thoughts on Christ by Jeffery R. Holland and what a wonderful message he had for us. It's one that I want to keep and look over and over again. What a powerful message it had for all of us. I hope all had a wonderful Easter. I just love this time of year. Everything starts to green up after everything has been dead or looks dead for four and a half months. New life appears with baby animals being born, buds popping out on the trees and the grass greening up and flowers poking up out of the soil showing their brilliant colors. Take time to enjoy what our Heavenly Father gave us and his son Jesus Christ. We have been really blessed.
